Jason is a photographer and multimedia journalist from Vancouver, Canada.  His work has appeared in a variety of publications such as Orion Magazine, the Utne Reader, The Walrus, Geographic Expeditions, Explore Magazine, The Globe and Mail, the Toronto Star and The Riverbones.  Jason’s work often explores the relationship between human beings and nature as well as the role of cultural elements such music, art, spiritual belief and food/drugs in human society. Some of the stories that he has engaged are organic tea farming in Bolivia, mining and Devil worship, dental tourism, trekking in the Andes, Uruguayan Candombe drumming and the music of the Mbyá Guarani people of northern Argentina.
