About JASON ROTHE
Jason is a photographer and multimedia journalist from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. His work has appeared in numerous publications, including the Utne Reader, The Walrus, Explore Magazine, The Globe and Mail, the Toronto Star and The Riverbones, a travel memoir on Suriname by Andrew Westoll.
Recently, Jason's work won the Orion Magazine award at the 2009 Our World Portfolio Review for portfolio that best that fits the mission of Orion magazine, which is to deepen an understanding of our relationships with the natural world.
Jason is currently based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and is available for assignements worldwide. His latest project, The Ethnomusicologist, is a new online multimedia channel dedicated to exploring the intersection between music and society.
